Outdoor Adventure Trips

Hi everyone,

I'm Cale and will be leading the Outdoor Adventure Trips this year. As a teenager I became interested in the outdoors through hiking and kayaking with friends and family. I graduated from Brevard College with a degree in Wilderness Leadership and Experiential Education, and Ecology.

This summer, we have six great trips planned. Make sure to visit our dates and rates page and trip itineraries page for more information. If you have any questions regarding the trips, please call our office at 877-30-CAMP or feel free to email me at  camps@ymcanyc.org

Throughout the year parents have shared with us the positive impact these trips have had on their teen. Charlotte shares...

"Camp was a wonderful opportunity for my daughter to explore uncharted territory in a safe environment with knowledgeable and educated staff. They promoted an atmosphere of sharing and comradery amongst peers while encouraging self confidence and awareness. I am always happy to hear of her stories as she relates to them throughout the year."

"Although the journey was brief, the depth was immeasurable; a young girl embarked and a young woman returned. Her experience produced lifelong memories with eager anticipation of what next summer will bring for her continued adventures at camp."

See you this summer!
