The YMCA of Greater New York is a community service organization which promotes positive values through programs that build spirit, mind and body, welcoming all people, with a focus on youth.
Our Vision
Day Camp offers a safe environment where campers feel like they belong and that translates into an inner feeling of joy. Self esteem is fostered through skill and community development. Staff training emphasizes personal safety and the YMCA core values of honesty, caring, respect and responsibility. We are fortunate to have Dr. Joel Haber spend several days working with our staff to create a bully-free community.
