New for 2010!
This summer, we are excited to offer a special afternoon session during week 1, for our high school gymnasts on the college gymnastics process. Tom Kovic, founder of Victory Collegiate Consulting will join us to talk with our gymnasts on the A,B,Cs of college recruiting.
Kovic, who is a former 19 year head coach of Women's Gymnastics at The University of Pennsylvania will lead a 90 minute seminar that encourages proactive preparation for a potentially arduous process. Tom will help breakdown important information in the following areas:
- NCAA Rules/NCAA Eligibility
- Official/Unofficial Visits
- Contacts and Evaluations
- Effectively Communicating With College Coaches
- Athletic Scholarships/Financial Aid
- D-3, Ivy League and Select, Non Scholarship Programs
- Effective Personal Profiles and the Initial Correspondence
- Developing Winning Videos and Websites
- Creating Time-lines and Organizational Skills
- Management (The Team Approach)
