High Team Elements

Giants Ladder

Giant’s Ladder
The Giant’s Ladder is one giant ladder, hence the name. The distance between the rungs of the ladder becomes greater as participants climb higher. This element allows for four participants to climb at the same time. The ground participants are responsible for managing the climbers’ belay lines, a safety rope attached to each of the climbers. The group’s goal is to climb as high as possible while working as a team.

Nessie

Nessie
The Nessie uses three teeter-tottering beams suspended from cables as a means of getting from one platform to another. The participants in the air must traverse the course from one side to the other using the beams. The beams have two hand ropes that ground participants must use to rotate and position in a way that aids the participants in the air.

High Y

High Y
The High Y requires two participants to start at separate points and work together using ropes and foot cables to complete the challenge. The pair must meet at the junction of the Y and finish the activity together. The ground participants are responsible for managing the climbers’ belay lines, a safety rope attached to each of the climbers.
