Summer Sleepaway Camp Blog

Thank you to our staff and families for a memorable summer. As we say goodbye to the last campers, we look forward to seeing everyone at winter camp and summer 2011.

We are sad to see the Summer of 2010 coming to a close. If you are picking up your child by car, please arrive at camp no later than 4:00pm on August 27^th.  If you are picking your child up at the bus, pick-up is at 4:00pm on the corner of 62^nd Street and Columbus Avenue (in front of Lincoln Center).  Please remember to have identification with you when you pick up your child. If any changes in transportation are necessary, please contact us at (845) 858-2200.

We look forward to seeing you at Winter Camp – December 27^th through January 1^st.

The last session of camp brings many “last of the summer” moments. Each one is special and we cherish them before letting them fade into our memories. Some of our campers have returned from throughout the summer to share these moments with us, while others have the opportunity to share them with us for the first time.

Last opening campfire, last evening sign ups, last swim, last mac and cheese lunch, last raising of the flag… Today we had our last rainy day activity, Heros vs. Villains. Tomorrow’s forecast? Sunny and beautiful. Here are some photos from today’s event.
